This is the official Terms of Service for ComicDesigner. Last updated: October 14, 2025.

1. Scope

These Terms govern the provision and your use of ComicDesigner (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Definitions

“User”: an individual or entity that uses the Service
“Content”: data you create/store/share in the Service (e.g., storyboards, text, notes)
“Editions”: the feature that manages histories/branches
“Link notes”: manual notes to relate plot items with name panels

3. Accounts

You must keep your account credentials secure and not allow third‑party use. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Fees & Payment

A free plan is available. If paid plans (e.g., Pro) are introduced, we will announce pricing, billing terms, and changes in advance on our website.

5. User Content & Rights

You retain rights to the Content you create. You grant us a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to store, display, and process your Content solely as needed to provide, operate, and improve the Service.

6. Prohibited Activities

Violations of law or others’ rights
Distributing harmful code or disrupting the Service
Reverse‑engineering or circumventing security
Automated access that imposes excessive load
Impersonation or misrepresentation

7. Availability & Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service for improvements or maintenance. Material changes will be announced in advance.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness, and non‑infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the six months preceding the claim (or ¥0 if you used the free plan).

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or your Content.

12. Term & Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or for necessary operational reasons.

13. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on our website, and the updated Terms become effective upon posting.

15. Severability

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
